Responsibilities :

• Creative Development & Design for Digital Interfaces (Such as Websites, Facebook Apps, Mobile Websites, Touchscreens etc.) based on a client brief.
• User Experience Design
• Wireframing & Layout Design
• Visual Style Guide Development

Requirements :

• An obsession with pixel perfection
• Extensive Experience in design & web.

Software Requirements :

• Photoshop (Expert).

Advantageous :

What you'll be doing :

• Working with other creative leads and project managers to develop concepts and static elements for a wide variety of online, video, and multimedia projects.
• Actively contributing to brainstorms and conceptual meetings.
• Working independently as well as within a team taking a project from concept to completion.
• Presenting and articulating creative ideas internally.
• Creating Comps based on Creative Direction.
• Assisting with break-up and optimization of visual assets for final development.
• Using brand guidelines to land existing projects.
• Researching & Implementing latest techniques & knowledge within Interface Design

• Web Development of various digital interfaces using HTML4, HTML 5, CSS 2 & CSS 3 based on provided designs
• Web Development for platforms such as Facebook Applications, Mobile Websites etc.
• 'Slicing' websites from Photoshop documents.
• Interpreting Visual Layouts based on wireframes & style guides
• Development of Front End Interactivity using jQuery

Requirements :

• Excellent Knowledge of HTML 4 & CSS 2
• Good Knowledge of HTML 5 & CSS 3
• Good Knowledge of Photoshop /Fireworks
• Fair Knowlegde of jQuery/JavaScript
• Extensive Experience in Web
• Fluent English

• Extensive Planning & Conceptulisation of project requirements.
• Managing your own deadlines & assigned tasks

Requirements :

• Excellent Knowledge of PHP
• Excellent Knowledge of MySQL
• Good Knowledge of jQuery & AJAX

Start Date : Immediate (but accommodating for the right candidate)
Salary : Dependent on current Skill

Responsibilities :

• Learning Interface Design/Development via online training facilities
• Working with the current team on actual clients
• Self Development of Skills via tutorials

Requirements :

• Passionate about Digital and/or Design
• Ability to easily learn new techniques & concepts
• Open to new technologies
• Basic understanding of the Web, Email & design.
• Matric Certificate

Duration & Terms :

• Internship duration is a 3 Month Contract that may be terminated based on performance.
• On completion, you will be reviewed.
• On acceptance will be required to complete an additional 9 Months at FirstView as a full time employee
• If you are not Accepted, you will be given a 24 hr notice.
